We’re looking forward to meeting you in person. A lot might have changed since you’ve last been in Austin or it might be your first time visiting us, so the team has put together a quick hospitality guide for you.

In addition to info about your hotel, we’ve included some key points of contact (for any questions) along with some great places to eat and/or drink nearby.

  • Q&A after your film’s screening (attendance required)

  • A-DOC Mixer @ AAAFF (Friday Afternoon)

  • The Mane Event - Official Red Carpet (Friday Evening)

    • When: Friday, June 26 6:30-7:30pm Central Time (please check in at 6pm)

    • Where: AFS Cinema Lobby

    • Theme: Horse Girl/Texas Chic

  • Filmmaker TX BBQ Dinner (Saturday Evening)

    • When: Saturday, June 27 6-8pm Central Time

    • Where: Stiles Switch Off the Pit Private Dining Room

  • Secret KTV Party (Saturday Late Night)

  • Asian Film Creatives Mixer (Sunday Morning)

  • We’ve reserved accommodations for you at the Holiday Inn Austin Midtown, located at 6000 Middle Fiskville Rd, Austin, TX 78752.  Room+Tax are paid for by AAAFF, but Holiday Inn will require a credit card for incidentals.

    The hotel is a 6 minute walk from AFS Cinema, and about 20-35 minute drive from AUS airport, depending on traffic.
