Code of Conduct

All AAAFF attendees and participants are expected to treat each other and themselves with respect. We intend for our programs to be free of harassment, discrimination, sexism, and threatening or disrespectful behavior. We reserve the right to revoke, without notice or refund, access to our events to those who engage in such conduct.

Attendees that experienced any of the above at any point during our event is encouraged to immediately notify an AAAFF representative and can also submit any complaints or concerns to info@aaafilmfest.org

Terms & Conditions of all purchases

In-person events will follow the most updated venue and local public health guidelines. All purchases are non-refundable. Please check the program web or event page for the most updated information concerning your event and purchase. If you wish to transfer your purchase to another individual before it has been redeemed for use, please e-mail us at box@aaafilmfest.org. Badges and passes cannot be transferred after they have been picked up and redeemed by an individual.

Accessibility Information

AAAFF has worked with AFS Cinema to provide accessibility details about the venue. Some features included at AFS Cinema are:

  • Bike racks available behind the cinema

  • Two closed captions systems, and two hearing-impaired systems that guests can use. *Note they may not be available to use if the film does not support it.

  • Outlets in the lobby for charging mobilized scooters.

  • Braille on bathroom signs

  • Two all-gendered toilets

  • Accessible stalls in gendered restrooms

  • Wheelchair accessible seating, companion seats, & moving armrests in theaters

  • Ramp to the stage in Theater 2

COVID POLICY

AAAFF will follow venue protocols established by AFS Cinema & recommendations from the local health authority. We encourage guests to wear masks & practice CDC-recommended hygiene habits Please stay home if you are feeling ill, or exhibiting symptoms of illness. Disposable medical masks are available in venue lobby for free.

BADGE POLICY

For priority seating, Badgeholders must arrive and be seated 15 min before film start times. Your seat may not be available and subject to be sold to walk-in guests otherwise. All Badge & Passes are non-transferable once pickup and claimed under a specified name. For programs that have high attendance anticipated, badge holders may be asked to pick up a “LINE TICKET” to ensure their seat.

How do I purchase tickets & passes?

To purchase badges & passes, you will be redirected to our ticketing platform, Elevent, at this link.

To purchase single-film tickets, you will be redirected to our ticketing platform, Elevent, at this link.

You will need to register and create an Elevent account as part of the checkout process for any purchase. Select the badge, pass, or ticket you would like to purchase. Complete your purchase. You will receive a purchase confirmation with details, terms and conditions.

Additionally, you can head over to GoElevent.com to log in and view your order history and links to films.

I forgot my Elevent password. Can I reset it?
Yes, use the password reset option on the login page of GoElevent.com. You will need access to the e-mail address you used to create the account. 

Can I purchase tickets to gift?

Yes, however you need to ensure that your use the e-mail of the recipient when purchasing.

I have a discount code. Where do I enter it?

Please enter into the “DISCOUNT CODE” box during the checkout process. Free events will have no fees at check out. Discounts cannot be applied after a purchase is completed.

Am I able to purchase tickets in-person instead of online?

Yes! Please come to AFS Cinema to purchase tickets directly from us to catch a screening. Box office hours are 1 hour before the first showtime on Thursday & Friday and 30 minutes before the first showtime on Saturday & Sunday. However, tickets are limited so if you do not purchase online or arrive early to purchase, seats may be sold out

When should I arrive at the screening?

Badge holders are seated 15 minutes before showtime; festival single ticket holders are seated 10 minutes before showtime.

Can I get a refund?

All purchases are non-refundable.

What if I purchased a student pass/ticket and do not have or can not provide my school ID at the theater?

You will be asked to pay the difference of the ticket.

What If I arrive late for a film screening?

Late arrivals are okay but if the theater is at capacity, we will not be able to seat you. Ushers will be available to help you find a seat if you arrive after the lights are down and the film has begun playing.
