Meghan Ross is a New York-born, Jersey-raised, Austin-based writer, director, producer, comedian, and activist who loves to create comedy that has as much heart as humor while making social issues more accessible than miserable. She studied business at Boston University and trained at the UCB Theatre, completing the Advanced Sketch and Improv programs, if any of that matters to you. She’s currently in development on her feature directorial debut, SOOO HAPPY FOR YOU, with co-writer Shruti Saran. The script was supported by Austin Film Society and Athena Film Festival’s Abortion Pipeline Project 2025 and was a finalist for the Sundance Development Track 2024 and the 1497 Features Lab 2024. She’s also in post-production on her docuseries, HOW WE GRIEVE, with filmmaking partner and brother Justin Ross, which will premiere in fall 2026 with Austin PBS as its presenting station and help from viewers like you.
